What is your purpose, and what do you do?
Our second purpose is to provide resources to students who are interested in or curious about BDSM. Our weekly meetings give students a space in which they can talk openly about BDSM. We will also be organizing events, such as demos, to give students an opportunity learn from experienced members of the BDSM community about safely practicing kink.
What is BDSM?
What's your connection to
the University of Chicago?
We're a registered Student
Organization (RSO) at the U of C. Information about what an
RSO is can be found here. Our RSO page can be found
here.
Who's allowed to
join?
Membership is open to all
members of the University of Chicago community 18 and older,
whether kinky or just curious. Many of our events, however,
are open to non-members.
How do you protect the
privacy of your membership?
For more details, check out
our bylaws;
Article 8 is the section that deals with privacy. And don't hesitate to
contact us if you
have any questions!
How do I get involved?
The easiest way is to start coming to the Tuesday meetings!
You can subscribe to our mailing list for announcements about the times and
places (your email address will be visible only to RACK
officers).
I have other questions! How can I ask
those?
The easiest way is to email us. But the best way is probably to stop by one of our meetings. We're always happy to answer questions and to talk about kink!
